Individual Cottages
Our Individual Cottages offer the perfect getaway for small groups or families, accommodating between 2 and 6 people with ease. Each cottage is designed for comfort and privacy, allowing you to truly unwind amidst nature. Additionally, if you're looking to gather more friends or family, you can combine cottages and hire the communal area for an extra fee. Our outside area features an enclosed patio that comfortably seats eight, complemented by a Weber BBQ perfect for grilling. Plus, it’s gated and safe for your furry friends, ensuring a worry-free getaway.

There is parking outside each cottage and there is not far to walk from the car to enter your property.

The cottages, communal areas and facilities around the site are well signed so it is easy to navigate your way around.
Individuals with Limited Mobility
There is only cottage that is suitable for individuals with limited mobility, but not for people that need a wheelchair.

Lathkill cottage is a single-storey cottage and suitable for individuals with limited mobility.

The doors do have normally sized thresholds that you need to step over.

The living area flooring is wooden and the bedroom floors are carpeted.

The bathroom has a walk-in shower.

A shower chair is available upon request.

The toilet is a standard height and a toilet handles are available, upon request, to help you lower and rise from the seat with ease.
Special Features in All Cottages
The following features are present in all cottages and communal areas:

The doors and door surrounds are in a different colour to walls to make them easy to see.

Light switches and power sockets are positioned so that they are easy to reach and are a different colour to the wall so that they stand-out.

Each bathroom and bedroom has an easy to read sign on the door outside.

The external exits have visible/lighted exit signs.

Location floor plans are positioned on the back of each bedroom door.

All taps are clearly marked as hot or cold water.

All staircases have hand rails.

All internal steps are in a different material to the surrounding flooring so that they are easy to see.

There are no mirrors in the living areas of any property. There are full-length mirrors in all bedrooms and covers for the mirrors are available upon request.
Location
Stainsborough sits on the shores of Carsington Water in beautiful countryside. You can easily walk from our land onto the car-free trail around the reservoir.
Closest country pub? The Miner's Arms in Carsington vilage is 1 mile from the property, and easy walk across fields and partially around the reservoir.
In the local area there's plenty to do. The Peak Disitct National Park is a stones-throw away, and we're surrounded by attractions, outdoor activities and stately homes. Once you've made a reservation, you'll get access to our online guide so that you can plan your stay in advance.

The Standard Booking Terms and Conditions as well as the House Rules for Stainsborough Hall Cottages apply to bookings for this property.
The security deposit for All Cottages at Stainsborough Hall is £500 (this is pre-authorised against your credit card two days before arrival and released within 5 days if nothing needs to be with-held).
